Dreams Are Never Practical

If dreams were practical, they would cease to function as dreams. Dreams are goals, ideas, hopes that are out of reach, yet something desired. Dreams are never practical; they require planning and effort. Dreams are not achieved by accident over time. Those who adventurous few did not wake up one day and have their dreams handed to them; rather, they spent days, months, and years toiling after their dreams.

We all have a dream. Mine, is the purpose for this blog. This is one action in a long line of necessary decisions that separate me from my dream. For that reason, I am proud to announce that Tuesday will feature a significant step forward in my pursuit of this dream. For those interested, I would ask you to check back on Tuesday for the unveiling.

And, I want to take the time to thank those who have followed this blog for the past few months. Your time and comments have been the encouragement I’ve needed to continue forward.

Thank you.

“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.”   -T. E. Lawrence
